Hola, I’m Adriana (Adry) Sanders, LPC-S
Millennial Mental Health Clinician, Clinical Supervisor, and Founder of SanaMente Wellness.
You’ve done todo lo posible to hold it together — for your family, your career, your community. Whether you’re climbing the ladder as a First-Gen professional, leading in your field, finishing your degree, or trying to keep up with expectations that never seem to end…
You might look like you have it all together, but inside you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself.
If that sounds like you, I want you to know: you deserve support too.
Maybe you’ve been the strong one your entire life — the one everyone relies on, the one who gets things done. You’ve succeeded on paper, but inside… you’re tired. Stuck. Burned out.
Whether you’re navigating family expectations, anxiety, grief, or the emotional weight of being a First-Gen daughter of immigrants — I see you. And I’m here to walk alongside you as you rediscover your voice, your boundaries, and your joy.
I Work With Adult Children of Immigrants Who Are Ready to Heal Generational Wounds
My clients are often:
Executives and First-Gen professionals navigating burnout, boundaries, and belonging
College students or graduates balancing academic pressure with family expectations
Adult Children of Immigrants who feel “too American” at home and “too Latino” in professional, academic, and/or personal spaces
Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents who are learning how to break cycles, not spirits
I provide online individual therapy across Texas for those ready to live with more intention, courage, and self-compassion.
What You Can Expect
Therapy with me feels like talking to someone who understands your ni de aquí, ni de allá experience—someone who won’t judge your struggle or your success. My goal is to support you in:
Releasing guilt and redefining what “success” means to you
Healing from generational trauma and parent wounds
Building emotional tools to show up grounded in your values
Learning how to rest, say no, and take up space without shame
From Luchadora to Leader: Why I Do This Work
I’m a proud Mexican American, bilingual therapist, and someone who deeply understands what it means to code-switch, translate for your parents at 6 years old, and carry the weight of everyone’s hopes and dreams.
My journey includes completing a leadership-focused program powered by Texas Christian University (TCU), where I learned firsthand the transformative power of leading with values in action. That experience continues to shape how I show up—as a therapist, a supervisor, and a mujer on a mission to help others heal.
My Therapy Style: Real Talk, Rooted in Research
At SanaMente Wellness, I mix compassionate care with evidence-based techniques, deeply acknowledging the human experience to help you understand your inner world and rewire your nervous system. With me, expect laughter, tears, and celebrations of your small and big wins.
Therapy with me includes:
DBT-informed strategies to manage emotions and find balance
Attachment-focused healing for deeper relationships (starting with yourself)
Polyvagal work to calm the body and restore safety
Culturally responsive care that honors your bilingual/bicultural identity and lived experiences
Together, we create a space where you can breathe, feel, and come back home to yourself.

Beyond the Therapy Room
I am passionate about personal growth and self-care, just as I encourage my clients to prioritize these in their lives. By staying committed to continual learning, I ensure I am fully present and equipped to support your healing journey. I also value disconnecting from work, exploring different cultures, and recharging through travel adventures and peaceful moments in nature with my husband and dogs. I encourage professional adults to cultivate hobbies outside the office—reminding us of the beautiful, expansive world waiting to be discovered. Finding balance and joy in all aspects of life is essential to thriving.
